Jeevandeep Bajwa is a 2L Dual J.D. Student at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Studying law through a dual legal lens provides her with a comparative perspective to critically evaluate how distinct legal systems approach contemporary social justice issues. This cross-border perspective uncovers systemic jurisdictional gaps, calling for solutions to redress inequities impacting marginalized groups. Through Level’s Social Justice Fellowship Program, she seeks to use her platform to advocate for student rights and address pressing issues facing the broader student community.
