Level Justice Connects with Law Students at the UOttawa Career Connections Conference
On March 19, Level Justice had the pleasure of attending the Career Connections Conference of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. This event offered law students an introduction to a range of career paths, including public sector and social justice-focused opportunities.
Fatima Ahmed and Tasha Stansbury of Level Justice with UOttawa Law Students.
Level was invited to represent the public sector alongside other key organizations working to advance justice in Canada. Our Social Justice Program Manager, Fatima Ahmed, and Environmental Justice Program Manager, Tasha Stansbury, spoke with students about their own career paths and shared insight into Level’s mission, programs, and the various ways law students can get involved in our work across the country.
The event was a great opportunity to connect with passionate students, highlight the importance of public interest careers, and discuss what meaningful legal work can look like beyond traditional private practice. We’d like to thank the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law for organizing the event and including Level in these important conversations.
