Seph Marshall
Program Facilitator,
Indigenous Youth Outreach Program
Seph is a white settler currently living in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal) on unceded Kanien’kehá:ka territory. Seph is a long-time community organizer and climate activist, with particular interests in grassroots mobilization and Indigenous sovereignty. Before joining Level Justice, Seph worked on climate-related access to justice issues with a direct action campaign, helping to provide legal representation to activists arrested and subjected to political profiling. Seph is passionate about working with youth, and considers meeting with them and learning from their lived experiences and perspectives the most rewarding aspect of this role.
A scientist by training, Seph completed his M.Sc. in Cell Biology at McGill University in 2024. While there, he was a student organizer with the Divest McGill campaign, which successfully demanded that the administration divest all holdings listed on the Carbon Underground 200.
Outside of work and research, Seph enjoys rock climbing, cycling, and lounging in parks
