Tanager is a mononymous law student and migratory bird. Originally from rural Oregon, Tanager lived in Turkey, Germany, and on the road as a full-time rock climber before finding home in BC. She has a MA in Intercultural Conflict Management, a previous career as translator and editor, and long-standing interests in sociolinguistics, immigration policy, and hopeful science fiction. Her experiences leading a non-profit in Squamish, BC, inspired her to finally take the leap and begin anew career in law.
